No J-body in 1985 had a Quad 4. Im almost certian You had a 2.0 Possibly the 2.0 turbo.

im bout to roll over 128,000 miles on my 06 balt (bought in oct. 05) and i've never had any kinda serious work done to it.. just normal maintinace and she's still runnin great..

Holy hell! Are you serious? thats some serious miles for only 2 years or so.
