GM Stage 2 comes with the proper ECU flash, injectors, and pulley. The kit tends to sell for $500 or so these days.

Because your car is going to be a dd, get the GM Stage 2 and have a dealer install it.

This way (even if the car is already out of warranty) a picky dealer will definitely be less likely to use it as an excuse when diagnosing/repairing other problems.

If you get an SC with low miles (my 07 SC has just 19k) the GM Stage 2 will be covered under warranty, and for that reason alone I would not recommend doing any other mods.

Up to you ...

if you take your car to road courses the lsd will help, but it does not make the car faster in a straight line like many people tend to believe on this site. lsd helps prevent wheel spin of which ever wheel starts to break traction when exiting a cornor.

SS Recaro seat which is better in terms of support and side bolstering:

Base SS leather:

These base SS seats may also have colored inserts and be like

Or red or blue.

i almost got a ss/sc but i test drove a civic si and fell in love.

however it depends what your looking for...

if you prefer interior quality and something more refined, look into a civic

if you prefer a car that can be easily upgraded to make more speed and have that awesome whine to it, get the ss

looks come down to personl choice but i thought the civic looked better and i love having a 6 speed.

but its was a hard descision to make. sometimes i wish i would hav gotten the cobalt and just made it faster since its a lot easier than making my civic faster.

If you're using the car as a DD with minimal racing, you wont really miss LSD. My car didn't come with it and even though I wish I had it, honestly it's not that big of a deal for me to not have it. And if I really felt compelled to get it, that's what the aftermarket is for.

As for the seats, it's more personal preferrence. The Recaros are great and hold you better in tight corners and during aggressive driving than the "stock" leather SS seats. However, depending on year and how it's equiped, the leather SS seats are heated which is AMAZING to have in the winter/cold nights. I have the heated leather seats and I love 'em. Sometimes I have to hang on a little more but it's worth it on cold mornings to have a toasty bottom haha. Most of the time I just use my heated seats for warmth and don't even bother with the HVAC.

Preference really, I don't own either but have spent time in both and I prefer the Recaros.
