mpx exhaust installed, black already

hello,

I installed the MPX catback yesterday on my 08 SS/TC. After 25 miles driving, the edge of the tip has collected tons of black soot. I currently am running a 24 psi trifecta tune, and for some reason as of late it has smelled quite rich (compared to a month ago).

Know any ways to keep all of this stuff clean? Time for a seafoam cleanse maybe?

If you fill your car up with hydrogen then you wont have that issue.

Your tune is probly rich but the soot is something that comes along with DI. It took the inside of my exhaust tip about a week to turn black. Im sure you could take a power ball to it with some chrome polish/protector to help fight the soot buildup. I honestly dont care as long as the outside stays shining

It's just gonna happen. You can't stop it. All you can do is clean it whenever you clean your car.
