Well after having my LT for 3 months and 3000 miles, it was time to get the oil changed for the 1st time. i just have to say i have had no problems (knock on wood) with my cobalt. It has performed great! i havent seen or heard any problems as of yet to have to take it to get fixed. it just seem that i read more postings of cobalts with problems. i m here to say, so far so good with my 'bolt!

That looks identical to my Cobalt, except with two doors instead of four. Nice.

 

23,000 miles since June 27th 2005... no problems at all (well, the radio took a poop, but that was taken care of). Car runs great, looks awesome, still feels tight, no rattles or squeaks. That amazes me because the condition of our roads here is terrible!
