It should run with a new sensor if it's working. a P0335 code is for intermittent CKP signal, so either the new sensor is bad, or isn't connected properly.

Did you get a GM sensor or an aftermarket one? Get an AC Delco sensor if you didn't.

Check all the harness connnections, the CKP has a 6" small harness between it and the engine bay harness, make sure both plugs are connected securely and CLEAN, they tend to get oil in them when the sensors fail and leak internally, that can jump the terminals and cause all sorts of odd issues.

Its a acdelco part. I double checked connections nothing found. I read some cars will still run amd other won't

The sensor was brand new. Is it common for them to be bad
