so on my 07 ls it is starting to grind going into second from first or third about 80% of the time. it is only doing this going into second all of my other gears are fine with no problems what is this problem and what will fix it cause i dont want to **** up my trans....please help

 

Sorry to say, its the syncro's they are done.. I went through this twice. Both under warranty luckily

 

Stop driving the car immediately. Your trans is dying painfully. Going to be lucky if you don't need to replace the whole thing.

 

second gear syncro's are bad. it is a known issue with these cars. I had 2, 3 and 5th replaced with only 5K miles on mine.

 

What does this mean guys and how much if my warranty won't covert it will it cost

 

so there is a god the people from chevy said it will most likely be under warranty
