need a lil input

ok so theres this dude in town with a 95-96 neon 2dr 5 speed neon with a 2.0 sohc no mods, he talks crazy smack about how hes gonna eat my 2.2 5 speed , what do you think?? i only have the gmpp performance exhaust

I will guess that its going to be 2 slow cars, and one will be moving slower than the other, allowing the slightly less slow car to win.

Curb weight is right around 2500 lbs........I'm not sure if that is dry or wet.

you'll beat him.. its the same motor thats in the gs eclipse of the same year.. i've smoked several modded gs eclipse with my 2.2 auto and and nothin more than a welded on muffler on my car at the time..

Well we do weigh more... Idk depends on the driver I'd say. You should have a pretty good edge but if you just arent as good of a driver he might getcha. Just like the local Civic kids, when we are at the track ones with nearly the same mods run drastically different times. I have seen a 14 sec redline run constant 16.5's all day because the driver was a *****.

I raced one, and believe me. I dusted the thing easy, didn't even launch good, just a small chirp. At the end of first gear, i pulled into his lane.
