Need some help from SS and LS guys

Well I smashed my Coby into a fence the other day, and my body guy is looking for new parts for my front end. I talked to him the other day and he said he can get me an SS bumper for the same price as a new LS, so, being much better looking, I want to get it.

This is whre you guys come in. If you get a sec, can I get some measurements on the height of LS and SS bumpers? Front the bottom of the headlight to the bottom of the bumper. I want to see how much lower the SS bumper goes, if its taller than the LS.

Thanks for your help!
Tim

You should be OK using a SS bumper, the lip on the SS/SC wouls make it look way to low.

You might want to check into fog lights too, I think the SS ones are a little bigger and may need different brackets.

These guys are giving you the right idea. You can get the regular SS (non-supercharger) facia which does not have the lip, and the lines will look very nice. With the lip, it will be quite different looking from the rest of your car. Also remember, the SS facias have fog light cut-outs, so if your car didn't have fogs before, you will now have empty holes there.

You get all these parts from GM (so yeah, the dealer), and they probably all cost about exactly the same.

I would suggest plugging that bottom hole with the grille available for it.
