Power comes on about as quickly as a faucet ... there's just too many turns you have to perform before you get the rush you want. The throttle is about as precise as a lawn sprinkler and the clutch is as free-flowing as a half-inch hose with a kink in it. Add in a shifter that is as cumbersome to use as a wall-mounted hose reel and the entire shift experience is all wet.

Ok I am not saying this guy is wrong but this whole paragraph makes about zero sense.
Sounds like the guy is having issues with his lawn irrigation systems.

well i have a ss/sc it handles great, supercharge sounds nice i whould say the interior is above averege nothing to fancy just the way i like it, and the price of a coablt ss/sc is just right, where i think it was honda or mazda that made this car they whould sell 35,000 to 40,000 cdn dollars

not really

they own all the sun papers, not to mention however many dozens more across the country, they just bought my local newspaper last year here. The company i work for is majority owned by 2 brothers from Quebec, but have nothing to do with day-to-day operations

That guy should check the car he was reviewing and make sure it says "Chevrolet Cobalt" on it and not "Honda Civic."

If he thinks a Cobalt coupe is boring, what must the grocery getter Civic coupe with it's whopping 127 hp be?

Or Nissan Sentra, or Toyota Corolla, etc etc etc...

Obviously he had his priorities screwed up when writing this. I haven't seen a more angered review since I saw C&D talk about Lada. The guy clearly has a chip on his shoulder and presents it so obviously that he quickly looses all credability.

p.s. 3 thousand metaphores in one article does not a good writer make

This guy probably never even drove the Cobalt. Maybe he rented a Ford Focus and just assumed. Or more likely being from where he comes from asked for a kickback from GM, was turned down, so he thought he would dis the new Chevy. What ever the reason this guy is F****D !

Perhaps the most intriguing part of the Cobalt LS coupe we tested was that it was a near dead-ringer for the Hyundai Tiburon
There you have it, he was testing out the Hyundai and thought it was a Cobalt.

Who is this, Mr. Magoo? Anybody else see any resemblance between a Tiburon and a Cobalt?

Edit: Anybody read this same author's other article about the Cobalt? It's like night and day. So he never got the check he asked for from Chevy then?

His other article
