hey all...kinda new to the site..just bought an 07 SS supercharged. must say i love it..i am awaitin neons and l.e.d.s and my system to go in it from my old car..thinkin of possibly doin a low pressure BOV but not sure yet...anyone do this and how did it turn out? also i'd like to here from any members in the NY area and lets see if i can't meet up w/some of u guys...peace for now
welcome, but SEARCH or you will get flamed to death on this site. our supercharger setup doesn't allow a BOV to be installed, since the boost is built after the throttle body. it has an OEM bypass valve to control boost in relation to demand/throttle input, which is more than adequate and you needn't modify it.

By the way, don't mention BOV's on this site...lol ok. There's a ton of threads on here about it. You can't put a BOV on a roots type supercharger. Just a heads up.
Some people on here may have some rude comments when they read your post just ignore them...I'm sure you didn't know Take it easy!
the only situation i know of where there is a BOV involving a roots type supercharger is on the Ford Probe GT kit because the S/C is mounted behind the driver's headlight, but the engine is biased towards the passenger side (picture if you took your S/C on your LSJ and rotated it 180* so the pulley still lined up with the drive belt and the outlet faced down...it's like that but the belts are on the other side of the Probe engine and the S/C goes to the driver's side). so the outlet of the S/C feeds up to the throttle body, thus the necessity to relieve the pressure off the throttle body via a BOV.

Welcome from a fellow WNY'er. I have some friends that live in the Lockport area with some Corvette's. I'm gonna try to get out there this summer for a car show or two.
Also, what color/options did you get? And any pictures?
