Don't need to, I drove my 79 malibu to over 700,000 miles. Hows your Accord hold up after that kind of run?

And I'd hardly call it a "skewed quality test" when it was a consumer survey done independantly of all the auto manufacturers. Stand by what you said all you like, the fact remains your standing by an incorrect statement.

And if you "don't do the bickering back and forth thing" please enlighten us as to what the past 3 pages have been. Cause it sure seems like YOU bickering back and forth with all of us.

Interior peices arnt alined, paint is cheap, etc etc etc.. look im not even going to go on cause you'll quote me about your buddy saying its the best car in the world and that the germans are going to copy it.. But thats a friend of mines story.. Just one source of where i got my information on the car when i wanted to buy it. But why on earth wouldnt i share that to someone asking for help??? Because I might offend ignorant people that think its the greatest car to come out of North America? or the world.. I mean, lets be serious.. making fun of me for speaking my mind does not make the cobalt more reliable. And Im not going to lie to the guy so I can see 'x3' or 'I agree' after my post..

Oh and no, your right, its not similar in my opinion!!
Everyone has a buddy with a car that blah blah ******* blah.

I happen to like the RSX by the way.

You don't own a cobalt so you have no clue about it. There have been a people with problems, as there have been with the RSX (2nd gear pop out anyone?) or any other car for that matter.

The fact is there are far more satisfied Cobalt SS/SC owners then there aren't. I'll bet the ratio is 100 to 1.

Another fact is that you clearly are a honda fanboy and you need to get your ass back to a honda site. If you came here research and have found what you need you should get the **** out because you're just trolling.

For the record my SS/SC 14.2 stock motor in the quartermile. I've yet to see an RSX type S break in to the 14s stock at the track. There is one guy who is 15.0 all day long but he can't get over the hump. I'm not saying it can't happen I'm just saying I haven't seen it yet.

for someone who loves hard data.. and dissmisses second hand stories, u sure throw out 'I dream of Genie made up numbers' pretty friggin easliy.. 100 to 1? Im assuming you pulled that out of your ass, the same place you found the no RSX type-S can run in the 14's stock.. Either way, Im here to stay.. and look forward to commenting more..

Incorrectly commenting and bickering for days on end but thats another story. Your welcome to stay in fact you offer SOME sound advice at times but your perspective is a tad skewed against the Cobalt for whatever reason.

Actually I said "I'll bet" it's 100-1 meaning the number I'm sure is quite high but not imply that as fact.

The fact is, I have yet to witness in person an RSX-S running 14 stock. I did see one with IHE and Hondata running low 14s though. It was only his second time out too so who knows what he could run with more practice.

for someone who claims they're not arguing back and forth, cobaltwanter, I see your name almost every other post...that's petty arguing back and forth. if you've said what you have to say then let it go. if you don't care for the cobalt that's fine but don't be a troll. also, how are you going to argue about "cheap interiors", "cheap paint", etc...this is a $23,000 sport compact car...it's not a $100,000 bentley or anything. manufacturers are gonna cut corners in some aspects of a car, that's why it only costs 23k. yes, there have been some cars with many problems; mine being one of them. I actually took GM to court about the multiple issues with my car. they settled with me for almost $4000. since then I have had NO major problems (little things here and there - nothing to cry about) and I still LOVE my car. no matter what happens to it, I will always love the car. it's quick, handles great, and is a blast to drive. if you take care of the car it will take care of you. no one is saying that an RSX-S is a horrible car, but reading through your posts I would swear Acura sponsors you and pays you to sell their cars...grow up and let it go

yea, ur right. I'm sorry for being a hinderance, i think im just gonna leave..
******* kidding me. Attention!!! Colbalt_Wanter is not 7 years old, and ur not him mom... STOP telling him to leave!

And just when I thought this thread was done, you go and get the guts to post something like that! It almost doesn't require a post from me - since you have said most of my work for me, but here we go.....

"yes, there have been some cars with many problems; mine being one of them".

I dont own, nor have ever, owned a honda, lets get that out of the way first.. I understand that certain concessions have to be made when making a 30,000 "sports car" (canadian). But you are seriously telling me that those concessions should be paint that scratches when you wash the car, which also chips, and flakes easily????? Or interior peices that dont line up properly?? Or steering knuckles that brake under moderate to hard turns?? ummmmm ok?! Cause, I see millions of cars that are cheaper than the cobalt on the road, that are 5 times as old (yes, most of them imports, heck even hyundai's!) with original and quality paintjobs! My opionion, yes, concessions can be made, but theres a difference between concessions and quality. Paint chipping - thats poor quality. Interior peices - well we can argue back and forth on that but I'll humor you, and say concession.

Im glad you love your car (actually, I dont really care, but it sounds nice), but the cobalt was so faulty that you took GM to court, and now ur telling me to get lost when i bring up issues to someone asking about reliability??!!?!?!?!!!!?!??! Issues that YOU have had?!!??! thats moronic!

And IM not saying I hate the cobalt.. In fact, part of the reason i still frequent this site is to learn about a possible new offering of a supercharged/turbo (whatever the rumor is this week) cobalt.. So in the future, if you're goin to tell people to get lost - lie, and say the car wasn't such a peice of **** that you had to go to court over it!

to be honest i've had a few things wrong with my car, horrible wind noise, a terrible mettalic rattling noise that is apparently the clutch as im told and slightly hard to shift. but if someone ask's me if i like the car i tell them i love it and i truely do. i wouldn't trade it for the world.

just my 2 cents.

and im sure there are many people that love their cobalts just like you. I am not a cobalt hater, I just get agitated when people tell me to get lost, and attempt to discredit me, simply cause i dont have the same opinion as them, or because im not hailing the balt..

well everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and i for one will let you have that opinion i may not agree with it at times but in the end there is nothing i can do about it. not to mention i used to get stressed over little things and it started affecting my health and the doctor told me to find a way deal with the stress so since then i haven't let little things get the best of me. lol.

I just need to clear some things up with that...

1) not ONCE did I tell you to "leave"
2) I took GM to court because their monkey **** mechanics at the one dealership kept screwing up the repairs, causing the repeat of service....one problem turned into many because people don't know what they're doing in a shop
3) I don't know what some people are doing to their cars when washing, but I have zero flaking of my paint...some chipping DUE TO ROAD DEBRIS (I'm sure GM has caused all rocks to hit my car)
4) paint and interior quality have NOTHING to do with reliability of a car, why is that the argument?
5) everyone IS entitled to their opinions, and I guess the reason I seemed a little heated in my post is the fact that we had to read your opinion over and over for 4 pages...state your opinion and move on, no need to bicker back and forth

::end rant::

for the record I'm not bitching at you for an opinion, just for the fact that you seemed so determined to make someone think the cobalt is a worthless piece of ****
