to me swapping out everything isn't worth the time it will take you, let alone the problems you can run into. In my opinion just put an order into ZZP for a full SC or turbo kit for around $2500, get a set of coilovers and upgraded 2.2 front brakes, get the SS bumpers and side skirts, seats and interior if you wish, and you will still be under the cost it will take you to do a complete swap.

and for the insurance thing, i bought my '07 LS coupe new after turning 18 and it was about $200 a month, now i turn 23 in July and it is about $100 a month. no accidents or tickets and full top of the line coverage

i say make a sleeper car for the win!!!!
and i asked around about the base modle trans fitting on the ss mottor, and it will work. you will how ever need to buy a custom drilled flywheel and diff clutch

Even if you insurance cost quadruple it's probably still cheaper just to sale your car and buy and SS. Anyways my insurance for my car, full coverage, is less the $90 a month. I am also 27 but I doubt that really makes much of a diference. If you pay so much in insurance as it is then I would find a new place for insurance or figure out why it's so high.
