Hey guys i'm in need of some new headlights because the past three pairs that I've had have all either leaked, started to fade or have the lens coating flake off. im looking for the oem style only with the black housing. I've found these three on carid. any advice on which one is better quality, they are three different brands. Are there any other brands on other sites. Any advice/experiences/reviews appreciated.

what 3 pairs did you have?

 

My original stockers, and 2 pairs of replacements (same oem style chrome housing and all) I believe the brand was eagle eye. they blew lol.

 

I had one of those brands before but I forgot which. They were crap. Get these. I have the same ones.

yeah.. im also looking for a nice set that wont leak but have no idea out of the ones you out up which is best..

ive yet to see a set tht dont leak lol

 

are the lenses tinted? its tough to tell in the pix. any why does that amazon page look so sketchy lol

Ya it's the same thing. Idk about the lenses but those are the ones I have.

Alissa, take a picture from the side, so you can see straight through the lens itself without the reflector behind it. He's trying to see if the plastic lens material is tinted. On an LS it's clear, on an SS it's tinted. Some aftermarket lights use the clear, some don't.

 

im assuming they are since they are darker than my stock ones

 

that'll work. Your pictures made it hard to tell with the black reflector behind.

they look clear, I just ordered them they came out to like 128 free shipping. I guess because of cyber monday

 

I had a different set of black stocks just like the depo ones, but it was a different brand. They also looked clear but i took them apart and the lenses were tinted.

a slight tint shouldn't be a problem. I just don't want them "blacked out" if the ones in the link that I reposted are the same ones in your pix ill be happy they look good

 

depends on color car you have. The only one i think it looks good on is the victory red and looks ok on black. but any other color leave it out

 

i agree with you. My last set of black ones had that orange piece.
