performance meter

wat is the best performance meter for 0-60's and 1/4 mile times for the cobalt that doesn't cost a fortune?

i mean one that can go in ur car because the only drag strip near me is an hr away and i don't want to have to drive out there everytime i mod something

In car meters aren't very accurate if you ask me. They can sometimes be off by as much as half a second. And when you start talking about 1/4 mile times that's a big difference.

Get a G-tech on ebay. You can get the old model units for around $20-30. IF you set it up properly and use it properly it can be quite accurate.

Yeah, they can be accurate. You just have to set them up right. Chances of them being accurate is not that great though. However you will get an idea of what your car runs around.

I have seen friends run a G-Tech while at the track and it was always less than .1 off. I would say there pretty accurate.

Yeah they just get a bad rap because people have to play the bigger dick game and need video proof of a dyno run or a drag run. I have ran mine at the drag strip and it is within .1 of a second. Its a great way to practice your launches when you can't go to the strip too.
