Here are the pics of the actual piece that is installed for the campaigns 06217 and 06221. I'll post pics of the actual install when I can get them do to it in my shop

Hmm. Looks like a retainer for an ape or something. Does it get covered up when it's installed??

yea. The tech lowers the corner of your headliner and hotglues it to the top side if it. Then when the headliner is reinstalled, you wont be able to see it at all.

Yup. We have a few appointments already made for this recall. Just waiting on them to show, or for them to do mine, so I can take pics of the actual install instead of those blurry ones that GM gives us.
