Pulling apart Gen 3 headlights

Pulling apart Gen 3 headlights
Would it be a bad idea to pull apart my gen 3 headlights and try to replace the halos and re seal them because they leak? I've never done anything like that so would it be hard to do? If i cant replace the halos i'd at least like to re seal them so water doesnt get inside anymore. Kind of annoying having water in them every rain/car wash.
