Ok, so picture this...I'm on the way home from the groccery store when a blue 4 door Cobalt (not sure if it was SS or not) zooms in and out of traffic behind me and catches up. He then proceeds to be on my ass the whole way home. So this car continues to follow me. I live far away from the store. So as most of the traffic is turning off this car is still following me. So I decide to turn into a fast food place (in case he was following me back to my house) and then he follows me in there. I park and he proceeds to circle the parking lot, gives me a strange wave and then squels off.

So my question is do any of you guys follow girls around? Or was this guy just looking for a race?

Yeah, not my style...I'm not above talking to a girl at a stoplight, but I wouldn't follow for more than 30 seconds.

that's weird... i would maybe follow someone if they were going the same way i go, just to see if it was someone on here... but i would never follow someone out of my way!! and following a girl, then waving and driving away... that's like an advanced version of being 12 years old..

 

that really did happen to a girl out here by me one day. except he was at the light next to her and she couldn't figure out why he wouldn't look away till she paid more attention.

Do you have short hair, or is there anyway he might have thought you were... ummm... a guy? No offense in any way!!! I'm thinking maybe he was trolling for a race, and then maybe was going to talk to you about the car, and then got nervous when he realized it was a girl, didn't want to seem like a stalker and took off. Dunno... or, he's just dumb...

 

Look at the likelyhood that he has never seen another car like his. He wanted to catch up to you because he was excited because you have a car in common. It is also likely that he didn't realize you were female until he circled in the parking lot and then he left so as not to weird you out more. Likely he would have talked to you if you were a guy, simply because you both had a Cobalt.
When I see Cobalts I like to try to talk to the drivers, to at least tell them to check out the forum.

 

Its quite possible he thought I was a guy, it was just dusk and my hair was up in a pony tail and he did come from behind. So maybe that was it.

Smart thinking NEVER lead someone to your house, pull into a busy area and call someone you know will intimidate the fool. That said more than likely he was lookin for a race, or he was to scared when it came down to askin for your #

^^ That's about what I do and I guess that might come off as weird to people, especially people who just bought a Cobalt b/c it's cheap, etc. So I think he might have just wanted to talk to you about the car and might have figured out that he freaked you out and bailed. I wouldn't worry about it, tho.
