Alrite so i've finaly cracked.

I have a custom 3in cat-back exhasut on my car and as some of the S.E.E members can tell you....its loud!

I've got a dynomax "race bullet" on there rite now...so shes pretty much stright piped.

I normaly dont mind the noise but its the drone on the highway that kills me!

I'm trying to get down to the magnaflow/borla sound levels...at least at idol and cruizing.

I'm thinkin about the borla xr-1.....any sound clips of that around?

any idea's??...muffler/ resonater's?

I dont know of any that are quite b/c I havent heard any yet, but I do know that people on here do have the 3in

Quiet 3 inch exhaust is an oxymoron.

Yeah on a turbo car everything is pretty quiet...but SC and NA cars it doesn't really happen. When i had my Sunfire GT i had a 2.5" exhaust with a high flow cat and a resonator and i tried Dynomax, Vibrant, and Flow Master mufflers and they were all retarded loud. It made the car a target for cops and every kid with a honda thought i was racing when i wasn't. Hi-flow = Loud.

If you find a quiet one...let me know because i am not changing mine till someone has a quiet solution.

Bryan, if your looking for quiet but want bad ass sound when needed I would highly recommend the the cat back system I am going to go with. Check your PM's.

Look again. You can custom make this at any exhaust shop and get the same flow and quality.
