Radiator Help. GM techies!!!!

Alright, the reason I posted here is because other people may run into the same problem I have. So this way here it will get to more people.

My problem is that I had to replace my radiator with another one after I cracked it hitting a cat.

Once I ordered the part and got it in the mail from crateenginedepot.com I then thought I had the wrong part. I thought this because there were two extra holes in the radiator that they sent me. I then went down to my local dealership with the part and part number ( 22731217 ). And they also confirmed that this was indeed the right part. I also called crateenginedepot.com and talked to a great guy named Dave. He then went to the stock room to see one to see exactly what I was talking about. He then said that there are plugs for it.

Turns out GM had made all of their after market radiators with the 2 automatic cooler lines to save money and just have plugs for those who have standards like myself.

So in the mean time I talked to my local dealership and they have no part numbers for the plugs. And when I talked to Dave at crateenginedepot.com he didnt have any either.

So my question would be this. How the heck can I plug these holes so I can finally have my damn car running again?

My dealership said that if I remind them they will call gm engineering on monday to find out. But in the mean time I'm lost here.

Here are the pics to be clearify it. It would be the two silver holes where i am talking about. I do not have these on my stock radiator.

They are not threaded. They have a 'C' clamp thingy there as well.

I also own a 2.2 coupe with a manual transmission.

Thanks for who ever may help me out. I will be one hell of a grateful kid if somebody can . Ill even buy you a beer. and if you live too far away. Ill pay pal you a few bucks to buy a beer on me

You don't need to plug those holes; like you have surmised they are for the automatic tranny cooler lines. There is a little tranny cooler there in the radiator tank, but the system is completely isolated from the actual coolant. No coolant will leak out.
