if you want to see what they are like go test drive a redline they come stock with the recaros

the 04-05 have blue fabric , the 06 has a white similar to the ss/sc but the ss/sc has a mor textured feel to it

they fit everyone differently , so that is my best suggestion for you , besides if you dont like um

as you can see people will swap with you very easily

so its a win win either way

I love them. I'm 6'0" and about 250 and I don't have any problems with them. They are actually one of the more comfortable seats I have ever been in to be honest. My girlfriend about 5'2" maybe 110 loves them too, she almost disappears in them but she finds them comfortable, haha.

LOL, that's exactly why I DON'T like them, cause that's exactly what happens to me. I don't think I'd find them quite as uncomfortable if I was a passenger but as the driver, they annoy me.

good point... In my cavalier, I love the seats for driving, but without the stearing wheel they are uncomfortable...

Thank you for all of your input. But I can still see that it is personal preference. I guess i'll just have to find out for myself. I can hardley wait to do that expected arrival date is late Jan. early Feb.

Thank you all

i dunno if its the same on the cobalt as the RL but on the RL they have a handle on the side that you can actually raise a lower the seat and that makes it eaiser to get you seated into the seat alot more comfertably

Hey Melissa!

I realize your talking about the recaro's, BUT... just thought I'd mention that I also ordered mine without ever test driving one. You will be MORE than pleasantly surprized! Bet you can't wait!!!!! Congrats!
