Which is why I never put one on.

no regrets besides looking at this thread. If i wanted a 500hp car i would have not bought a cobalt or dodge neon srt-4, but i would love to see a 550 hp srt-4 on the street.

i pretty much look at it like this...

srt-4 is a pimp little car.. however.. do i really want it.. yea.. but why? only because of the motor and its potential.. ******* dot.. and most people are like this.. take away all else and do people want a neon? hell no.. you wouldnt want to be caught dead in one...but the srt-4 is fair with a nice little package under the hood..dont get me wrong...i like the car overall and all.. but just be honest with yourself..

why i chose a cobalt... it looks better all around.. i enjoy the drive better and its unique in #'s and performance... i never owned a blown car.. i have built NA before(old school v8 guy).. so i wanted to try it finally... well.. knowing this is a domestic sport compact car i knew turbo swaps would enter sooner or later and thus i can convert over if i truely wanted to make power and experience that type of setup.. which i will be converting in the future... so now i have 2 setups on the same car and can interchange at free-will, show me another car that can do that but seriously.. it wouldnt be hard... and let is speak for itself... first conversion was putting down what? 32x and then capped at 40x... mopar stage 3 what bitch? and we are still awaitaing hahns kit which we know will pretty much have been nit picked on so damn much that its perfect...

so.. if you really sit back and think about it.. it really isnt a hard decision i wouldn't think.

if you have regrets from buying your cobalt and wish you would have bought a srt take this into consideration...... look at pics of srt's in wrecks...... the cars are almost always DESTROYED and I hate to say it but I've heard a lot of people dying .....

The cobalt on the other hand usuallly looks.... DESTROYED but the occupants were safe!! Most of these cars have side airbags that come out of the pillars hwich IMO is much safer then the b.s srs airbags built into the seats (my srt had vipers deleted from options)

and yes spelling ownes me =)

I'm just gettin tired of inaccuate informaiton on this and many other car sites. Then people pissing and moaning expecting something for nothing when it breaks. Stock = Warranty, Modded = Dealer Descression. Some dealers are dicks I'll be the first to claim that, but some people need to stop seeking internet approval and live with the decisions they make or leave it stock till the warranty runs out.
