Alright so im working on my retrofit, almost done with one light, i just need to figure out what i want to do with the paint, tell me what you think. the black on the inside needs to be re-painted but you get the idea
here are the choices, red outside with black inside
red all over
black all over

Just a idea... you could change the reflector from orange to clear, while your changing your light anyway, there is a link in the How-to section. It looks really nice and would set off your retro fit IMO. Here is the link https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...ight+reflector
not to be a dick but you can really clean the shroud up a little with some sanding...it looks like the corner of it and around the lense could be smoothed out...im crzy **** when it comes to detail so it might be perfect for urself....just my 2 cents.
i know that corner it hard to sand but if you take a little wood block and cut a 90 degree piece out you can ahere sandpaper to it to give you a nice way to get in that crease.

dude chill out lol, im not even done with this thing, i really do appreciate your advice but i want to figure out how i want to paint it before i really go all out and do all the finishing sanding, you'll like it in the end i promise. but you are right it does still need work.
lol i wasn't screaming at you...ur talking about painting before you even have it prepped right....that's the only reason i mentioned it.
well i also wanted to paint it to see where my flaws were (since black shows them really good) so i knew where i had to spend more time on.
