Reverse lights out *HELP*

So, i really cant figure out whats wrong. The only thing i did was put a carbon fiber trunk on in late june early july. A few days ago I noticed my reverse lights were not working. I checked the bulb and the fuse and they both were fine. By switching materials did screw up a ground? I cant help but feel like either something is wrong in the pigtail or the relay has gone bad. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm going to head to the dealer and talk to a tech guy to see if they have any ideas.

-Michael

don't think that the material of the trunk will mess up your lights,, are you sure that the bulbs are ok,, bc they are pretty small and delicate,, also you may want to check the cables.. it they are connected/attached well

Hmm... interesting. The wires for the bulbs are all in the bundle... there is no exterior ground that I am aware of.

If the bulbs and fuses are fine you should look elsewhere.

Perhaps the problem is in the transmission or computer? I see you have the SS/SC... consider the possibility that when you put it in reverse something isn't engaging properly and the lights aren't coming on.

Not saying that this is the case... just giving you something else to look at.

he switch the trunk so maybe go deeper on the cables dont focus on the near the bulb part,, check if maybe you pull to hard and disconnected something farther in the car..

i checked the wires, i really don't think that is the culprit. Has anyone else had this problem before? Im going to try and replace the bulbs.

I've heard of the trunk not opening before... but not of the lights not working.
