That's the worst thing you can do to your country is buy a foreign car... My budy has a Caliber srt4 and from what i understand it's much slower off the bat factory, but the engine's overbuilt and designed for a lot of up grades. You can do a lot to them with out them braking (unlike a subaru / or evo)!!!! I'm partial to GM though.... OO also, I've found some into for stage kits on the 06/07 but nothing but rumors when it comes to the 08/09's, any info???
What?? I have a few friends with stis and evos and have a descent amount of mods.... and they arent braking. It's the friends with srt-4' that are pulling 400hp and braking.

The reason it prob feels slow is for the fact of the TC's linear power band, it doesnt really have a punch for say like you have in an MS3 or Sti. I know an MS3 feels quicker because the power is real spikey but it is not. the cobalt is a more even linear powerband.

I'm in cheyenne WY, not a lot of people have any thing to race for me to see how it stacks up.. Any body have any suggestions..
If you see a loud primer grey camaro in cheyenne you should race that. Let me know how fast your car is then

i was stationed there for 4 years btw. i left in june 08. I got my balt at the chevy stealership there. what is your AFSC?

I agree with OP 100%!!!

This is freaking 2009 man! A $21K car that can only hit 0-60mph in 5.5s, pulls 0.91g and had a top speed of 155+mph is, frankly, UNACCEPTABLE.

If the Zonda F can be that fast, I don't see why the Cobalt can't.
