Somehow...I got a dent

Despite parking nearly a mile from my dorm in a spot where no one is daring enough to park next to me, I recieved a small dent within the well for the license plate. It's on the bottom edge, punched in about the size of a dime also with a small nick in the ss/na webbed plastic under the rear faschia...I'll post pics when I can, but from the sounds of it would I be able to get this popped out?

I feel ya man. People are dicks now a days. Cant have anything nice. Same sort of thing happened to me. I was pulled into a spot. There was a cop across the street watchin traffic or something. I ran into subway to get a sandwich, came back, there was a big ass dent in my rear quarter panel. I asked the cop if he saw anything. He said oh, someone pulled in, the pulled out right away and drove off. I was like WTF?

That's so weak man...Like seriously, I understand accidents happen, but you have to try to make things right. A couple years back I was working at a grocery store and lost control of a shipping cart down a hill, and it ended up slamming into (what I found out was my 3rd grade teacher's truck) So I went in, got on the PA, got a hold of her, and offered to take care of all the expenses. Too bad Karma doesn't have my back. No note, no one waiting, just a fresh dent in my 3 month old car. Your story is way worse because the COP didn't do **** : /

Considering that the rear fascia (bumper cover) is plastic, not likely. Sucks donkey ***** when peeps do that (bash and dash), one of my co workers just had his 2 month old Highlander gouged in a parking lot last week. No note, nothing but a 30" crease in the quarter panel and rear door and a mess of white paint left behind

Leave it to a walmart customer to **** up someone's car who's clearly parking a mile away to protect it. I am also that guy that parks out. I always get some passenger bitching too...but that's the price they ******* pay for the free ride, haha.

plastic facias can be repaired it depends on how bad it is if it's just a small dent like you said you might be able to heat it up and pull it out...

That sucks man! Total lack of respect for nice cars these days. In parking lots, I usually park by a cart return or island. Believe it or not, the cart return is quite safe... and there's rare instances of a space between a cart return, island, and pole.. 3 sides protecting the car.. came across it once, but the spot was taken. People can be *********

yeah if it's a small to mediate dent in the rear bumper fasica u can heat it up with a heat gun and take a ball type handle from a screw driver or something and roll it over the dent on the inside of the bumper after heating it up it should pop right out!!

Funny cause my Cobalt used to get fucked with like once every 4 months. Then when I got the GTO it never happened again.
