Somthing hooked to my ecu

I bought my car 3 days ago. There are 2 holes uder the stearing wheel where there was a plug hanging also. This car is supposed to be new, thought there was like 45 miles on it. What could this be? The dealer has been kinda been putting things off, but he said he would have the dash piece replaced. Anyone have any ideas on what was hooked up? Was is it a brake contoller? haha. Was it a performance module, or was it a security system? What usually plugs into that plug?
Please help? Im a little worried.

Question

I cant take pics.... But its two little holes where somthing was screwed to the dash... then it seems like it was plugged into the plug hanging there. Any ideas? It had to be the dealer that did it or someone who owned or worked at the dealer..

Could be poor manufacturing that these cars seem to have.

That's odd. Just tell your dealer you want it looked at to make sure there are no problems or you'd like another car.
