Uneducated ear? Explosions ( as you put it ) coming from an exhaust is a good thing? I thought the only explosions that were supposed to take place in a car are in the engine. Dunno about your exhaust, but Id like to keep mine explosion free. That cant be a good thing.

mine sounds pretty damn close to the srt......... listen and it has the pops and everything especially when i let the gears slow me down ohhhhh man is it poping and gurrgling , i love it it sounds mean

the "explosions" are gas bubbles that are still in the exhaust system that are usually silenced by the muffler and depending on the size of piping and the distance between the cat and muffler will make the difference in the amount of "poping" that you have....... also if you have a res or not and a cat or not will make a huge difference too

The stock SS/SC muffler gurgles and growls fairly loud. Compared to most cars off the lot, the SS/SC is a decent sounding car.

Follow one around, and when it's downshifting, just listen.

take a peek at that link i posted it has a bunch of stuff there but also two vids of my 2.5" magnaflow exhaust ........ no not from magnaflow a custom exhaust .....
