I had a person seriously ask me if my SS/SC was really supercharged or "IF I HAD JUST PUT THE SUPERCHARGED BADGES ON" lol ......... I actually had to pop the hood and show him. Funny thing was even with the hood he didn't know what he was looking at.

ported blower + 2.6 + cai + plugged silencers + vented cf hood = LOUD blower whine.

Well, I had someone say I had some horrible belt squeel when I passed him on the highway. Thought that was worth a laugh

nobody thinks my car is an SS. I like that. I'm not one to like to draw attention from the meatball crowd.

I usually assume that a de-badged car is a top of the line model, with or without a wing. Most people driving lower trim levels don't care enough about their car to mod it, interior, exterior, or performance. Of course there are exceptions, but overall, that seems to be the case.

Rice has been such an issue, that the back lash has been an overwhelming desire to clean up the look of high performance cars.

I think I had my car for about 2-3 weeks before I de-badged the trunk. It just looks cleaner IMO.

I like the look of your balt, BTW.

I took mine to the track one day and make a split decision to take it off. I was so close to hitting 100mph i thought mabey it would get me there. So my trunk had glue on it and holes and no badges of course. Well i had about 20 people come up to me while i was there asking what i had done to a non-ss to make it so fast lol. People arent too smart sometimes i guess.

And now i have it wingless and badgeless, cept the XFE one on the trunk. People get really salty when they get wasted by it and dont realize its really an SS lol
