so i got hit by a drunk driver on saturday at 3 am. it was a truck and its about 8 grand in repairs. most likely it will get fixed and not totaled. my Q is the guy said regarding aftermarket headlights that as long as they are less than ones from gm ($295) i could get them which is what im going to do. But i also need my hood replaced so does anyone know how much a stock hood costs with it getting painted included? bc im trying to get a carbon fiber hood and possibly trunk if i can. thanks.

 

Sucks big bro. Glad you're alright. Can't you just pay the difference on stuff like that? Like my insurance agent told me that if I get hit (God forbid) that they will pay UP TO the cost of the GM part. Any cost beyond that was on me, but they'd pay their legal amount for aftermarket items.
