How To: 1. Get your garden hose, cut both ends off to a substantial length.
2. Put 1 end of the hose in the gas tank...
3. Suck the garden hose, until you get a mouth full of it.
**DONT SWALLOW**
4. Put the other end of the hose into a gas can
5. Make sure nobody is around you...
step 5 logically should be step 1. lol

Not the gas cap, but the fuel door.

Buddy of mine photoshopped a black Fuel Door (the billet ones like they make for trucks) on my car and it looked bad ass...I'm trying to locate one that will work, but no luck.
Doesn't cobalt addiction have the billet locking gas door. I think the one on Donna's car had a lock on it.

Nope, I don't think anyone yet makes billet gas doors for our cars even though many of us have been asking for them.

I really don't get why more cars don't come with locking gas doors from the factory. My wife's '96 Grand AM has a locking gas door that can only be released from the inside. Works like a charm and makes the door a lot cleaner without the finger grove on the side.

I'll only participate in a group buy if it is on a Locking Fuel Door...preferably in a Black finish with chrome or billet accenting. I don't want a gas cap. The stock fuel door doesn't fit with the car, I don't like the finger protrusion to open it.

Not sure if they do or not, but I am hoping someone can locate someone to make some if they don't.

I don't understand why they make them for trucks as soon as a new model comes out, but cars usually never get one made. They are practical and friggin awesome.

We've asked MRZ to make one but they are pretty busy with all their other projects right now. Hopefully a vendor will realize the sales they could make by designing one of these...

Check this out, this is who and where i got mine. It's really good quality too. I'm impressed. Just make sure to specify for a Cobalt!
Locking gas cap
$6.35 A GALLON?!! Even if you're talking in Canadian dollars, I'm going to shut the hell up about the $3.55 a gallon we've got in Illinois these days!

His math is a little off. His calculation is based off of a Canadian gallon (yes, a Canadian gallon is larger than an American gallon). At his local price of $1.36/L it is really $5.14 per US gallon. Still sucks but not quite as devastating as he made is sound.
