Throttle body

I have a stock 2.2 lt and I need a new TB. Will the LSJ LS4 TB from ZZP fit?
I'm looking at the SKU # but they don't match and idk if it's because ZZP has its own part reference or I'm looking at the wrong number.

What year is your car? Btw if you use a LSJ throttle body then it will need the throttle body relearn through HPTuners. Ran into that problem with my old LS. 05-07 has different connecting pins than 08-10 cobalts.

Or would I be better off with the LE5 TB?

Because I am piecing a SC kit together for it, and I know I would need the LSJ LS4 TB once I put on the SC. (Preference of it anyways) that way I can just tune it once and not over and over.

Better off buying a stock LAP TB and buying a used SC TB and save it to piece together a kit.

The LSJ throttle body won't physically bolt to the LAP intake manifold. You'll definitely need a tune just to run it by itself, forget your other mods. Plus it's too big and will cause driveability issues.

Will it fit with the adapter plate and the 8 pin adapter cable?

Probably, but again it's way too big of a throttle body for the LAP.

Le5 is fine for your current motor but won't be sufficient for a supercharged build. LSJ is too big. LS4 is way too damn big. But for what it's worth, the LE5 isn't worth the trouble. If I had an L61 throttle body honestly I'd swap back to that.

So then which TB would you recommend for the SC and which one would you recommend for me to replace my shitty one currently until I put the SC on it. I'm putting the exhaust system soon mind you so I want to be able to have some kind of fun on the stock setup I'm the meantime,

Lsj tb and the ls4 tb are two different ones. Buy a stock 2.2 tb until you boost it. When you boost it get a stock lsj tb.

Just in case there is confusion, LSJ does not come WITH the LS4 throttle body. it comes with the its own, and it's one of the mods that people do. opens up airflow, but i've heard it can be a pain in the ass to drive with if not tuned right, because of its sensitivity. If you're going with a basic stock blower setup on the car, you might as well consider trying to find the OEM LSJ throttle body.
