Salvage titles will never be worth nearly as much, and they are a lot harder to sell. Don't do it.

If you can get it for 8k it might be worth it but doubtful

If the car is salvage it was a bad accident, I hae worked in body a body shop and have woked on cars that "dont look bad" but once you start tearing them apart it gets worse, the car may not drive right and the body may be twisted, you could have suspension and steering problems all sorts of stuff. I don't recomend it

Ask yourself how it got salvaged and looks perfect

That's so risky.

Yup, I wouldn't give more than about 6-7k for it, Then I would tell them I wanted to drive it for a day first.

Don't change a thing! Make HIM buy and drive the salvaged car.

Take notice that the drivers wheel is turned and the passengers wheel is offset and straight, this car has alot of steering/powertrain damage, stay away!!

I would get it i fix vehicles and sell them with a salvage vehicle 90% they are salvage is because the dang auto body shops charge so much to fix them air bags for a car is 3000 for a cobalt so if the price to fix the car is 70% of what the car is worth the salvage it well if you have a front end hit were you need to replace the bumper fender and airbags you just hit the 70% mark because they buy everything retail you can get all that stuff online on ebay or other place for a lot cheaper if you have before and after pictures of the car i would go for it. I bout my saturn ion redline with the rear axle and front axle broken it was totaled the price to fix it from a auto body shop 10,000 for me to buy parts and fix it 3000 so thats why they get salvage title not because there is anything wrong with them or because they were in a big accedent. i would go for it if i was you it will make your payments alot easyer and 12k for somthing like that is a steal with a salvage vehicle you take off 20% off the retail value
