Update to kids messing with my car

if any of you read my post a few weeks ago about some kids vandalizing my car and stuff this is an update.

i had a voicemail on my answering machine from the local detective. apparently they found the kids who did this to my car!!! he asked for me to call him back with the estimate of the damage so i can get some money back!

the thing is...i never got an estimate cuz i figured i was just gonna get some touchup paint and stuff and handle this myself. but if i can get some money from these kids to cover this, i def wanna get it.

any idea on how much it would cost to get my trunk professionally fixed? there pics in my profile thingy.

go to the car dealership and get it qouted, its almost always more expensive there... they can do a write up and everything just tell them what you need it for. i did and walmart paid out alot of money lol

And if you tell your dealership to give you the MAXIMUM estimate... they are usually pretty good about that... you tell them insurance is gonna cover it, so on so on... they'll make you a nice pricey estimate... they did for me when a BP car wash went crazy and ripped off both of my side mirrors, antenna, spoiler and scratched the hell out of my old Grand Am. That was a scary experience. But it paid well.
