Update (Pics)

They got the engine torn apart today to see what was really wrong with the car. Turns out we have a bent valve, broken keeper, broken valve guide, and a piston with some scratches......The tech said he was probably just going to order an entire new head and be done with it. Piston looks worse in the pictures below than it really is. A lil buffing and the piston will be smooth again. So now we shall see how long it takes to get an entire new head in and have it assembled and reinstalled........

Oh I remember that thread. Yea that valve is pretttty bad. It will buff out.

Called the service manager this afternoon and the verdict is......All parts and labor will be billed to warranty work and they should have it completed next week around Wed. provided the parts show up on time.

congradulations! I just wish the service managers here in my dealer were as nice and fast working! >_<

maybe i can get them to port the blower install a new pulley and do a tune on it while they're at it...........we can dream right?
