Is a vette 2 much??
Is a vette 2 much??
This kid in my high school got a brand new c6 vette. and i thought i had a fast car for high school.... but i talked to him about it and he said his insurance is 1250$ a month. my mouth dropped lol
I got one more thing to sya about this subject... dont hate on the kid. Even though he might not deserve the car. its not like any of you would turn it down if you were in his shoes.... honestly..... and if any of u say you wouldnt accept it, id call u a liar to your face if I could
wow what a freaking loser. I would make fun of him constantly for that. Who cares if your cars slower, at least you can drive it.
For a high school kid yes it is too much. It shows how irresponsible his parents are. No matter how much money I make I would never buy my high school aged driver a car with that much horsepower. They are just asking for a late night visit from the police saying their son was killed in an accident. It sounds like the kid is on his way to that too. I hope it doesn't happen, but it's likely.

well... I guess as long as you have a life insurance policy on your kid thats worth more than the vette and funeral costs, go for it (assuming, that your kids are in high school...)

I agree, it really reflects his parents' morals and values. his parents are not allowing him to figure things out the hard way and earn things like people in the real world do. they are not preparing him for the real world. honestly i feel sorry for him... he wont ever have to experience the feeling of turely earning something.
now, my parents offered to buy my new ss, but i declined and told them the only reason why i got a job was to afford my new car. sure i could quit and just forget about money, but i like the feeling of earning things.
