heck of a hit(s), sucks to hear and see but glad you are ok from it all aside from the little injuries. I would definitely get what I could, never know if this accident will cause future pain. My g/fs sister was in a rear ender and the other person insurance settled with something that makes them pay out down the road if anything comes up related to the accident.

And back off the truck owners lol, I have one. Its people who are not paying attention, be it a truck or smart car.

hmmm I couldn't help thinking about this thread last night and when you said you got rear ended by a truck a certain spot where I drive appeared in my head and I imagined it was my car getting rear ended. I feel like if I were to get hit thats where its most likely to happen. Right next off the expressway while turning into walmart. So many bad drivers here that I think in between merging from 3 lanes to 2 and having the entrance to walmart in that spot too that i have a higher chance to get hit by someone not looking than in any other spot. lol

well like i said earlier glad youre ok!

Man yeah when I got rear ended then hit from the front I didn't scream until right after I hit the guard rail. Well I'm currently taking it to the next level to get claims and all. This will not go unpunished.

Yeah sure buff it out lol, well I know the car is already junked. It's been a few days still hurts and all but I'll survive. I hope within the next few weeks I can buy another balt. Been debating on a turbo or a supercharged SS instead. I miss mine already and just isn't the same but like I say we all gotta move on. I guess the reason why I want another balt is because I didn't get finish paying mine off and also because this car stood the testament of safety. I wouldn't be safe driving anything else lol.

Sorry to here that man. That crash def looks bad. I also was hit from the back from a guy driving a toyota pick up. He hit the back of my old sunfire 1400 in damage to my car. He gets out and was like i saw you stopping but didn't know what you where doing. Im like im turning left my signal light is on! I didnt go to the hospital till the next day my back started to hurt really bad during school and I drove home then parents took me to the hospital. Then I was hit again from the back with the sunfire again 6 months later by a lady in a elantra. Her car crumbled like can and i had no damage. After that we named the sunfire buns of steel. I ended up suing the lady in the elantra because she didn't have auto ins and in my state its illegal to not have ins and the stupid cop didn't notice it.

I no my G5 is much safer then the sunfire but GM cars seem to take a good hit. Also the onstar has to be active for it to come on. I have it active in my G5

Yeah bro, even my doctor was like wtf after looking at the hospital reports. I'm just glad to be here with you all. During the impact my hands held onto the steering wheel for dear life like nascar and wearing your seatbelt will of course increase your chances of survival too. It's funny how I just put in a full tank of gas a few hours before the wreck ontop of that. Man it's a sad day another texas balt down, for me my car was like a member of your family, she risk her life to save mine, will never forget RIP but to be alive I'll take that anyday.

Hahah, yeah man it's cool I'm in good spirits, thinking it's the pain meds that are kicking in now lol. HAHAHA.... yeah man you might find them off the road if you look hard enough, I'm still trying to find my liscense plates off the side of the road lol j/k. It's all good here each day is a gift for me since that time. I want to thank my parents and sister for being with me now from the moment of the accident/hospital and now at home. My family members who where there with me at the hospital. Also my fiancee she took it the hardest and now that she's in Seoul South Korea correctly it was very hard for her to see me like that, but she's in good faith now. Just wanted to share my story with all of you here. I won't be going away from cobaltss.net been here since I got my balt, did all sorts of cool projects and getting advice from some of the best damn knowledgeable cobalt owners/GM workers in the US. Keep on living strong who reads this thread and know that your in safe hands, I use to bash down on GM safety but I actually appericate everything they do all those safety sensors are their for a reason and airbags.
