What do u guys think?

Hey guys, I'm just looking for sum input. I had been trying to buy the SS S/C a while back, and didn't have any credit and couldn't get a co-signer. Then I started my new job, and after saving enough, I got to looking at the TBSS (Trailblazer SS). I know there is a big price diff, sumin like 10K, but I was told I could get the Blat Now with the DownPayment I have. I had been on here once in a while not and seen some bad stories about quality in the Balts? I was just looking for some input from the community on your Main problems with them. I was looking to get the TBSS for the room it would offer over a Compact Coup, but I've since jumped back on the fence about getting an SS. (KINDA PISSED ABOUT THE G85 BEING GONE) Any input would be great. Thankx!

If you're trying to save cash, go for the SS n/a, I have one and I love it. If you're deadset on the s/c, get it. I've always been a firm believer that you should get whatever you want in a car. If you want the leather seats and sunroof, get them, it's only going to be an extra $10 a month over the course of your loan, etc.

With that said - I don't understand the whole tbss thing in the first place. A tb should have a z-mark.. like the z71 on the full-sized trucks. I've never been in/seen the difference between the different trims on a trailblazer, but those things eat gas at it is.

Main point - get the car closest to what you want that isn't going to make you go broke.

If Room is what your looking for go for the TB the Balt has no back seat & Barely a trunk The car accually feels better after it gets broke in. I haven't heard of any major mechanical problems yet but it is a high horsepower car and a lot of people have broken axles and tranny due to wheelhop. We still have the G85 package available the package does not include the recaro's, the recaro's have become an extra but the LSD is the G85 package. I love the car. My suggestion is buy the balt and if you need something with more room buy an older car or suv for use when you don't want to use the balt! I'm getting a 1996 Dodge 1500 next month to keep the balt in good shape.

Thats not a bad idea actually, and I didn't know that about the G85. Thats good to know. I might actually go back this weekend and tell the dealer I'm gunna go with the balt. I have till sat to decide. (My own timeframe). I was looking at that G* tho and its friggin sweet!
