I've been refusing to do it since I got the car, but today I dropped off the car to get some tint. Just the doors and rear qtr windows. didn't go dark. Barely darker than stock. Should cut a little UV anyway.

In case you decide for the ZZP cold side talk to me first. I have a brand new one that I didn't put on after my build and I won't until/unless the stock one breaks. So far the stock pipe holds up fine Easy way to save yourself some shipping ;-)

This was actually on the 4th, but I did a pretty exhausting detail to the SS. Washed, clay bar, wash again, polish, glaze wax.

Haha, I hear ya. I've never owned a Cobalt, had a Red Line before the HHR. This is the most active forum for the platform so that's why I troll here

Thanks!

Im new here but i have an 08 Cobalt SS and i've recently started customizing it. So far i only have K&N intake and Hahn 3" turbo back exhaust. Just waiting on my blow off valve and then i can install my zzp hot/cold charge pipes and larger intercooler. Cap off the stock bpv and install the trifecta tune.

Interesting that you told the guy with the common chassis and engine that it's not a Cobalt and doesn't count, yet the Subaru guy in the post before him you didn't say that too.

Changed oil and filter my self for the first time. Once I removed the oil bolt, a stream flew out onto my garage floor. Won't be removing it all the way again lol.

Friday night showed up some guys that were messing with me in a Mazda hatch, Guess they did not realize my sedan was turbo? lol. After that I ran next to my buddy's 95 M3 since he has been desperate to take on my car. Guess that explains why he followed me from wal-mart to safeway lol. Changed oil on Saturday to get it prepared to go to the Summer meet in PA that I unfortunately didn't get to make.

Fixed my blown speaker and added a extra tweeter, not sure if anyone else has ever done it but I took out the stock microphone for onstar in the roof and put another tweeter there. Not really sure it made much of a difference but I got bored and the stock tweeter fits in the little opening perfectly.

Installed rear R1 concepts premium rotors today and also decided to check the floating pins to discover that the TWO times I've had the stealerships work on the brakes under warranty, no one decided to grease the damn things. Dry as a desert. So I greased em up nice and good like.

Also installed gms1 o rings that the last owner decided to skip putting on. Helped my fuel trims a little.

Cleaned/reoiled my K&N - installed it bulge down just to get hate (seriously it was running solid and well mannered that way with LTFT @ ~1.5-3, so I stuck with it), and had new Conti DW's dropped on the front.

On the old tires - tread looked new on the back, and were completely bald on the front....
