Installed OTTP front and rear rotated mounts. A little annoyed that I ordered VOIDED mounts and they sent me solids, but they are in. Also installed rack spacers which fixed my shaky steering wheel under braking. I had thought the column was bad but apparently its not since the spacers stopped the vibrating. Installed Autometer Cobalt Series Boost, Oil, and D-PIC gauges.

Finally found a set of center caps that match the powder coat perfect! They are off of a 2013 ZL1 Camaro

I have my ss in the tire shop today for a big nail through the center of one of my two week old tires. Free though.

Also cut apart my r1concepts sticker to my liking and put it under the hood.

Installed power window/lock actuator/power mirror in my passenger door, started wiring the driver's side and the rain made me stop. But my passenger speaker stopped working. I need to see what's wrong with that.

Car looks great!
Are you using coilovers in the rear too? Did you have to do the rear axle support mod using a tow strap to keep the springs from falling out when jacking it up? Had been reading about lowering and many guys have mentioned this problem on the cobalt's with lowering springs and coilovers.

How is the ride quality? Can these be raised higher than you have your car sitting?

on stance the rear shocks are adjustable for length to help match the spring. something to do with having a proper preload

and for me i have ksport, the shocks arent length adjustable so i have to make sure the springs are in place when i drop the car after a raise. they wont fall out when driving due to the weight of the car

its not a problem really we have a solid rear beam

I had sportline springs in before the Stances. All we had to do was put jack stands under the car, loosen the two bolts for the shock, then once the shock is out we had a smaller guy step on the hub to bring it down. The spring came right out. It was simple. The hardest part was loosening the bottom bolt on the shock.

Saturday:

Take off turboXS lower charge pipe. Created a bracket so the map sensor would fit longitudinally, so that it wouldn't keep hitting the fan shroud and leaking boost and put it back on. Noticed one of the t-bolts for the intercooler rubbed the ground once. I'll need to get a new one. Looked at the underside of the valve cover I just bought. Realized John Powell was right, so I didn't drill any holes in it, just put it back in the box. Someday I'll have it powder coated. Adjusted the rear brakes. Washed, waxed, vacuumed, cleaned the interior, put RainX on all of the windows.

Dropped my car off at the body shop today. Sadly without the new tjin trunk. I received the G5 tjin trunk Friday in the mail and it was damaged. The box has hardly a box anymore. Super bummed about that. I've been waiting for my g5 tjin trunk for like 2 months now.. Anyways I'm going on vacation this week so I won't be here to get a replacement in the mail.. So going to try to just get a refund. And I guess I'll just go wingless and put a small m3 spoiler/lip? On it.. Car should be looking new in a few weeks, fresh coat of paint and all.
On a side note... The company I ordered my tjin trunk from isn't answering.
