I put my brand new shorty antenna on today. Car look less like a RC car now!

Have not gone anywhere yet after I put it on, but I compared the signal before and after while changing it in my yard. There was no loss that I noticed. Signal was great with original, removed almost complete static and with the shorty on was back to the quality the original had (clear, clean sound and bass for FM). If it does end up dropping out I may re-route an antenna wire for it up into the back window. For now it works very well and I usually have my trusty iPod at all times.

Thats good to know! Thanks! I have read from most people that put on the shorty they have not had problems either. So I decided to give it a try. So far I am happy with it looks and signal quality! I think the reception quality really depends on area and signal strength.

 

I hav the same one on my sedan! Great signal wherever I am. Although my iPod is normally hooked up anyways haha.

 

So, to give a quick update about this MPX shorty. I used the FM briefly on my way in to work. Most of the normal stations I listen to were very clear. A few of them were a bit staticky at times they were clear with original antenna. Those stations are further away from me then the others that were clear. It was cloudy and rainy this morning which I know played a factor. Over all I am satisfied with it and like jbros my iPod does not leave my side.

My shorty -cant remember if mpx.or not but dont think it.matters- doesnt pick up ****! So many stations just totally fail

 

I have the mpx shorty and the reception is the same as stock.

 

Was stock shitty? Because it was for me lol

Because Facebook is overrated! lol Its everywhere! The last thing we need is people posting and checking their FB status while driving in the car, but they put it there. Can we say accident!?

I don't have one but I have contemplated making a random one just to join the gang. Though it would be a contradiction of my dislike for FB and Mark Zukerburg. I have had my credit card number jacked and had a charge for 200 dollars on FB one time thats not FB fault but it left a poor taste my mouth (just one of many reasons). I was thinking WTF I don't have an account and who the hell spends that kind of money on facebook? What did you do, spend it all on farm animals, that you will never get the eggs, milk, harvest or meat to feed your family? I think I can find better things to blow 200 dollars on. lol I will admit it could be a good resource for many things and keeping in touch with friends, family and weirdo's lol. IMO facebook can be just as bad as our justice system with all the corruption in it.

I will probably be flamed upon for this but its my honest opinion. Sorry guys!
