I'm getting some good road time on the new Michelin Xi3 with stock 18" rims. I'm liking it more than my previous setup, the Toyo g02 plus on aftermarket 17's. Ride a bit stiffer but the traction gain is noticeable.

 

Drove in the slush today

 

Replaced the drivers side seat foam. Can't believe how much of a difference it feels with fresh cushioning.

 

Didn't even bother driving it. The snow was up to the grille when I went out around 4 this evening.

 

Cleaned my seat with some oxy clean lets see how it looks after it dries, was pretty dirty

 

I used some stuff called "Resolve carpet stain remover" on my white suede seats that I traded someone, got blue jean dye out as well as some other questionable stains, the seat looked like new again.

Oh and I drove mine like a bat outta hell through the snow today, nothing beats that smug feeling of ripping past an H2 in the ditch, or pulling away from a pickup at the lights with him struggling to get traction through the open diff to the rear wheels.

 

Yeah it should come out pretty good used it on my passenger side once it cleaned it pretty good but was even 1/4 as dirty as mine lol

 

Don't get too cocky

 

washed and spray waxed with a break in the weather and threw a cover on it for the rest of winter.

 

I'm *gonna* replace my trailing cabs and throw some springs B&G's on it.

 

Applied a new drivers side carbon fiber B-pillar overlay... tedious to make it perfect, but it came out great.

From Saturday-Sunday during the big snow storm in Chicago, I drove down to my mom's house where she has heated, cement floors and did the following:

-Replaced front grille with TC style
-Put in all new LED lighting underbody and wheel wells
-Installed new MOMO pitstop ebrake handle
-Replaced stock boost gauge with a new one and new face from black cat customs
-rotated tires/check brake pads - Went to replace but they're all brand new!
-Took door apart and diagnosed regulator problem
-Ordered BPS Short Shifter

That's it for now until a new regulator, interior door handle, and BPS short throw comes in!

 

Wow what a difference the cleaning did on my seats i would recommend that oxy cleaner for carpets ill try to take a pic of the bottle so you guys can see it. i wish i had a before and after pic but my seats look clean again have the white/silver seats on my tc

 

Had these and new stab links installed over the weekend. Holy F**K! What a difference!! No more clunk sound whenever I go over a crack in the road. Hardly notice sewers anymore. Can pull in and out of any parking lot with no clunks or shakes anymore.... Feels like I put a grand into my suspension, lol.





Probably should have had these replaced 2 years ago when I bought the damn things!!

 

Lucky! I did that but I still have the clunk My CAB's did need to be replaced tho.

 

Waiting for 200,000km and hopefully Mr.Powell will be available to replace nearly every suspension part on my car since it's all original still.

Not lowered. Thinking maybe shock mounts or sway bar bushings.

 

I'd start with the stab links. I think they go quickly on these cars. I just had new ones installed less than 2 years ago, and they were already worn out. Luckily I had the work done at the same shop, and they covered the stab's because they had a lifetime warranty.

When i replaced just the stabs in 2013, it made a noticeable improvement in the clunk sounds, so I didnt bother with the CAB's. The last 2 weeks the clunks were getting worse, so I said f**k it and finally dished out the cash to have everything replaced, and it was worth every penny! Birthday money FTW!!

 

Funny thing is, I was thinking about returning the CAB's and ordering some from moog, then realized that the ones I bought WERE moog, lol. Guess I should read the box next time
