What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?
Saw an amazing looking Evo X. Lowered, carbon trunk, canards (not my thing), straight piped, open dump. Sounded amazing. I was behind him and he just kept reving it up and doing mini pulls. I pointed to the highway. He got on and I proceeded to put a car on his ass from a 60 roll and held it to about 150 and we let off.
Fell in love with my car all over again.
He was surprisingly ok with getting beat by a 4 door cobalt. Gave me a thumbs up
I know this probably belongs in war stories but I don't have a video and don't think you should post in there without one

I'm not super familiar with the evo's and what they can do on the stock turbo, but I have a feeling if I was on 93 he would have pulled me. But....

E47 term2 tune took care of that.

Uploaded my aggressive timing tune for the E47 this morning, but forgot to disable a couple codes that knock the tune back to the low octane tables(which are almost stock...) So my drive to work was BORING. The P0128 code I forgot to disable made me unable to use AC.
Just finished uploading the corrected tune with the codes disabled, including a gas-cap related code I've had since I put E in it.

From what I understand and have tested, E evaporates a lot more slowly than gasoline. The code is a "slow leak/low flow" code for the EVAP system so I figure because there is not a normal amount of pressure build in the tank, the EVAP system isn't working properly.
But that's just a theory, what do I know?
I've suspected my EVAP solenoid to be bad for a while anyway so I may as well just delete the whole system anyway...

Found my sub had flipped upside down in my trunk at some point, and decided to make something a little more secure. Made a reverse mount sub box out of an old counter top I had in my garage. It was made from heavy duty MDF, so I figured "why not?". The box is a sealed one thats secured underneath. It sits inside the spare tire compartment. (No spare tire obviiusly). Need to cut the carpet/chip board OEM insert to go around the sub, and figure out where to mount my amp. But i think it came out good.
