What Have You Done To Your Cobalt Today?
Had the rear three windows tinted today. Did 20% on all three. The company I had do it does incredible work and the car looks way better with it. Next up is to mask and tint the tail lights, third brake light and side marker lights in the next few weeks.
This way.. I did this on my old 2.4 and my tails looks freakin amazing, looked wet and glossy all the time but let light through much better than night shades

I'm basically needing to come up with a way to mask most of the circular face and then paint the rest. I realize VHT will never be optimum but with proper prep and wet sanding people seem to have decent results.
Dyno 2006 chevy cobalt ss sc
We took our car to Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA. There is a shop there called MCE Racing and they have a great Dyno. We learned the importance of using a dyno that can put load on when testing a car that is boosted to get an accurate read. We used a 5% load on the dyno and pulled an incredible 351 whp at around 6800 rpm and 296 max torque. We had ran it once without using any load which the shop owner said is not accurate on cars that are boosted with pulleys and such and it ran 241 whp, Again he said this number is not accurate because the pulleys and blower are not working properly if load is not used which represents the power you would be obtaining actually driving your car. Our car has a complete stage 2 and everything for a a stage 3 except the smaller pulley, bigger injectors, and updated tune, but that will be coming in the next couple of weeks. SO we will see what that does to the numbers. The best part is our car is fully street legal.

His correction factor was way wrong for the 351whp, not the lack of load. 241whp for a stage 2 LSJ is normal, he's just butt hurt a little 4 cylinder can put down that kind of power. To bad you don't have a TVS, or better yet a built turbo'd LSJ like some of the senor members
Thanks Rice, They took quite awhile to find but were exactly what I was looking for. Old style SS stripes
Thanks, the black in the writing and bowtie has a carbon fiber look to it but you can't see it very well in that pic.

I just noticed where did you get the cover for the fuse box?
