It took me maybe an hour and took so long because I didn't have the socket to take off the one to refill I used and hex key or whatever it's called for the drain so I had to go buy a socket with the hex inside. Had to go walking lol, if not it wouldnt of take me so long. it's pretty simple same as changing the engine oil. Also you don't need any big tools to do a downpipe it's super easy and I don't even think I used a swivel to take it off it will take me like 20 mind to get mine off if not less

 

Also depends on the car's life and if he has gloves to get under there while the dp is still a little warm to brake the bolts loose.

 

Yeah since it was winter driven it might be harder than me, but still it isn't hard to do
