Installed a long tube header that came with a catless downpipe, but I welded in a 100 cell cat from Mandrel Bending Solutions. Have a couple issues I still need to take care of though.

trimming one of the leds will not mess up the power/ground?

The 06-10 light bars are waaaaay different actually. I'll take a pic in like 7 hours when I get home. But IMO it's best to wait for me to be the guinea pig so you don't waste $70.

Check it out. The whole LED power supply is nothing more than a few pieces of metal. Each power/ground supplies current to 2 LEDs at a time. There is a circuit board on the back.

I have a backup if it doesn't. It's just a little more expensive.

UPDATE:

I just cut one of the LEDs off of my brake lights and they still work flawlessly. I did accidentally blow my parking light fuse though. Oops.

Lol will do. Just touched the ghetto wires I was using together. No biggie it's only a 10amp fuse which I have like 743 of anyway. My ultimate goal is to cut the driver's side marker open tomorrow after work, then reinstall the lens on the car until I can finish the mounting of the LEDs. Best case scenario I have them done Thursday evening. Worst case Saturday afternoon.

I'll be using 5 of the 6 on there. All of them won't fit but 5 will

Cut open my side marker and tried the LEDs. It looks like ASS. Gonna need to do some sanding/smoothing on the lens to make everything look uniform. That or cast a new lens, but I don't want to go through that much trouble for something like this...

ya i was really excited about it. I'd still like to find a good solution for them though, i bought a pair of cheap LED's and they look like ass because they are so long you just see the single tiny circle. Dont want to drop cash on a better set if they are going to do the same thing

Lol I never said I give up. I have a chopped up rear marker that needs to be put back together and I'll be damned if it is going to be with an incandescent bulb. I'll get them to work. Just need patience.

I'm thinking this is as simple as a grinder bit and some polishing. Or maybe not even polishing.

Installed a brand new valve cover... My stock one's paint started to bubble and chip, and I didn't feel like touching it up.

Got the brand new cover off E-bay for $60. Came with all new bolts and the gaskets. Killer deal.
