Well... had my first race/chase this year I guess....
Pontiac Grand Prix GXP V8.
He was in front of me on my way home from work. He turned up the same two lane highway as me, and I waited to see if he was going to hit it. He does, and I decided to play. I punch it from 2nd, and catch up to him almost instantly. As I was about to easily pull past him, he starts swerving across both lanes to prevent me from doing so (d*ck move). So knowing I'm dealing with a 100% a** clown, I decided I'll just continue pulling up the hill just so he knows he can't get away from me (since he didn't want to accept loosing). 88 degrees out, uphill grade none the less. IAT2 Temps at the top of 3rd were 150 degrees after a long 2 min pull.

He just got butt hurt he knew he was loosing to a 4cyl lol
Indeed! It was a nice looking GXP to. Black, very clean.
I caught up to him very quickly and he got the jump/head start. I figured I pull by him, and then let off, give him a thumbs up for a fun run, but nooo... butt hurt, butt hurt everywhere.
Rather than try to make the new upper spring mount work with the joust, I simply decided to get rid of the joust/bump stop. I took the new upper mount and used a dremel to open it up a bit and fit it (rather snugly I might add) directly on the bump where the jounce popped onto. I used some matting material to help isolate any NVH in-between the frame and the new mount as well as underneath the lower perch prior to putting the spring/lower spring perch back in.
To help cut down on spring slap/noise, I used some polyethylene split wire loom and wrapped the coils.

You got it buddy -
My spring seat adapter is different than yours.... So I def could not do what you did.
Also, I have coil rubber on mine as well to quiet coil slap. Def required for the rears.
Just yesterday, I added some to the front coils to help reduce the metal on metal contact between the coils, and help prevent the powder coating from being damaged.

Got told my car sounds like **** and smells funny when I floor it and it shouldn't do that by a co worker. Told me if I didn't have a fartcan on it it would sound good. I said I'll give you $100 if you look under that car and find a fartcan. Idiots

Guess he doesn't love my catless rfl
I love people act like they know about cars, yet they can't even change brake pads.
