you would have to be doing very long sustained wot runs at a very rich afr to ruin the cat. Gm makes plenty of factory forced induction vehicles, all with cats on them.

Also isn't the LSJ tuned to hit like 10.8 AFR WOT from the factory?

That would be an issue.... should be 11.8-12.2 if no one has touched it.

If you have a source that says otherwise I would be interested in seeing it but both my tuner and most of the reports I have found online say that stage 2 is set at 10.8 AFR. Obviously that isn't ideal and I don't know why the GM engineers decided to go that way. Only thing I can imagine they were trying to play it safe in case the intercooler system failed.

The Quad 4 was the fattest running engine I knew of from the factory at a normal 13.5:1

I am not referring to a stage tune... OEM out the door.

Stage tune is OEM though... Which would be more applicable to the pulley you are running.

Replaced the driverside headlight. It had some water in it that didn't want to come out.

I just finished painting the front of my car today, I went with satin black. I think it came out pretty good. Now I just have to replace those hideous OEM headlights with some blacked out projectors !

My recent work over the last few months.
Wrap is Satin Pearl White with Gloss Green Envy stripes. Engine powdercoat is Illusion Money green.

I posted pics of the engine parts when I got them back from powdercoat, it was mentioned that the fuel rail internals may not of survived. Well they have been working properly for nearly 2500km now.

Usually I think body kits and hoods with louvers look ricey on a Cobalt but with your color scheme, that continues in engine bay, was executed very well and clean. Looks good!

Going to try out my high temp powder coat on a set of headers. Same powder I have done 2 Stroke expansion chambers in.
