Are you pulling it out underneath and to the front of the SC? You should take a picture. I am having a hard time thinking of what sensor would be sticking out of the block that would be in the way. Filter should come straight up and out.

I honestly dont know what room you guys have to just take it out. I have a friend with an SS/SC that takes his to a shop to do his oil changes and even the service guy was saying what a pain in the ass it is to change and that he hopes he didnt bring his car back lol.

Was not aware there was a sensor there on LSJ. Do you know what sensor it is?

I'm fairly certain that is the barometric pressure sensor.

My wife picked me up a set of new mats for Christmas. I finally got around to cleaning things up and installing them:

12" extension, 30mm or whatever size oil filter cap socket and a wrench has the filter out in 30 seconds.

Supercharger still needs new bearings pressed into it. Hope to get that done this week

I'm fixing the silver where it needs it, then the whole car is being wrapped in the satin pearl while. Prices I got for pearl white paint ranged from $4000 to $10000, the wrap is $2000 and is no problem to match in the future if need be. July 1st

I'll likely be pulling the engine and transmission out over the winter, at that time I have some rust repair to deal with and I'll likely paint the engine bay black at that time.

Had the side exit replaced with a factory location exhaust, and added another muffler.

Made some stock LSJ heat exchanger brackets that bolt to the crash bar so that I can mount the h/e in front of the AC condenser.

Replaced all four spark plugs and coil pack on my moms L61. Replaced both fog lights on my LSJ.
