Yeah, baseball sized hail falling at terminal velocity will bust up about anything. Thankfully it was only quarter size on mine or they would have totaled my project car

I still see the occasional dimpled car from a huge hailstorm we had in 2010. That stuff is nasty. My car got really lucky.

I Installed black m52's 235/40/18 nitto 555 g2's, Powell yyz' s, Powell cabs, powergrid endlinks and moog ends. Allllll to have the tire shop 2miles down from my work to tell me he couldn't get the alignment done till tomorrow and i dropped it off at noon so i ended up taking a work truck home. Life is funny sometimes lmao ohhhh and the guys I got my tiers from (different shop) gave MY g2's away to the wrong guy the day befor I need to get them thrown on the m52's so I was already a day behind lmao Sooo Friday she will be looking good

I got the rest of my order in! Even though it is basic stuff I find it still to be exciting.

Now I just need a good tutorial for paint calipers.

Do you have new calipers there or using the OEM?

If their new, I would take them apart since the seals are fresh and have them Powder Coated. Although I do my own PC I did some paint once and it comes off when hit with the pressure washer. I pressure wash these now every weekend.

They are new ones. The old ones are rusted to crap and while still working I needed to replace for my own sanity.

Powder coating would be awesome but I have a feeling it would be out of budget range for me. I will see what I can find though and also look up reviews on different paints. Unfortunately the rest of the budget from this order is going into the tools I forgot I didn't have.

Finished the drivers side hub/brake rebuild.

Had to break the housing to get this sucker out.

Shiny and new!

This was tough. I started at 11 AM and didn't finish until about an hour ago.

Didn't happen today, but put my Powell Hardcore bar in and changed the oil. If anyone is questioning whether or not to get this bar, DO IT! The handling is a night and day difference without any change in ride quality. If anything, it has gotten better since it allowed me to soften up the rear damping on my coilovers.

I feel like a sunroof / headliner expert now. Damn rattles! Removed it, completely disassembled, degreased /pressure washed. re-lubed with waterproof marine grease and it's quiet again. Replaced a couple foam items that were getting hard but the grease did the major quieting down. Cleaned/pressure washed the glass cover and headliner so it is now spotless and best of all... no more rattles!

Really getting fed up with the front brakes chirping every 5,000 miles after lubing them.
