I'm buying tires today, but for winter would 235/45/18 tires for on the stock 05 SS wheels? I have a lot of wheel gap.

 

you want a more narrow tire in winter.



but I think 235/45 will be very close to rubbing your strut mount. each tire is different. I run a 225/45 on the LNF wheels and its close to the strut tower

its the aspect ratio as a percentage.235/45 means the 45 is about 45% of the tires width 235.

 

Drove it in a winter storm.

 

Changed the oil, raised the coils a little bit and repainted my intake pipe.

 

Had my new head unit installed today! Built in GPS, Bluetooth, DVD player, back up camera I'm really happy with it & got a good deal from Crutchfield. Also noticed that my rear brake calipers were leaking brake fluid at the seals! Both rear calipers I had installed new just over 2 years ago so they both had a lifetime warranty so I had two new rear calipers installed today as well.

 

That head unit looks awesome!!!

Today I 90% finished the fabrication and installation of my lower grille and license plate relocate. Have to attach it better. Thanks Custom Car Grills.
